Hey Texas! Hey to all the Uncs and Auntie’s out there! How ya doing? Our name is Cynthia… last name Woods Mitchell Pavilion! We were wondering if we could take you out to the best cookout of the season, and invite you to our outdoor party! We’re Grown - and we know You Are too! So that’s why a day time cookout right here in Spring is the only place to be this September, partying with the GOAT Charlie Wilson!

Coming right here to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion this summer, Uncle Charlie is bringing the whole family to Spring this September as he takes his R&B Cookout concept on the road for all of us to enjoy - and we’re making sure to save you a plate at the party! Happening right here at the Pavilion on Friday, September 26th!

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is one of the most iconic venues in Spring - offering loads of free space to roam, relax, enjoy, and dance throughout our space that can hold up to 10,000 of your best friends. Located right in the heart of The Woodlands just outside of downtown Spring - our space transports you to a quiet campground oasis that features iconic art installations and structures, a covered stage that can get you in the mood, and so many events for everyone to enjoy all summer long! Especially when we have Charlie WIlson on the roster for shows to round off the season. On Friday September 26th, catch Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout right here in the city for a time that’s absolutely going to be memorable. Charlie will be manning the grill for us and twenty five other locations throughout the country as he brings his cookout across America - including Chicago’s Northerly Island, The Toyota Pavilion up in Dallas, Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion, The Coastal Credit Union, Chastain Park in Atlanta, and of course - right here in Spring at our very own Woods Pavilion. It’s a Pavilion Party y’all!
Charlie Wilson is a walking R&B Legend - and his smooth sounds and iconic hits have been credited as bridging the gap between the 90s R&B game and the contemporary hip hop and slow jams genre. With a career that's spanned over fifty years, Charlie has a BET Lifetime Achievement Award, a Billboard Number 1 on the Adult R&B Charts, and 2 GRAMMY awards. He has given back to charities and activist organizations endlessly, and absolutely earned the title as Outstanding artist of the century. So, it makes sense that Charlie has a deep line up of industry friends and talent to help him put on all his productions - he’s bringing the new generation of voices with him along for the ride on the tour, and has collabed with OG’s like Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, and Snoop Dogg for some of his best hits. Uncle Charlie is a juggernaut of the industry - and has powerful vocals we just don’t see that often anymore in modern day R&B. And that’s why you have to come see him this September as he once again shows his kinship and forms deeper ties with his fans in what is sure to be an iconic performance.
