EPIC Texas country is taking over this summer with the Flatland Cavalry & Randy Rogers Band Work of Heart Tour 2026. This is very much the Flatland Calvary's show, but the addition of the Randy Rogers Band ensures that the country music's gonna be flowing long before the main event hits the stage. "Work of Heart" is the latest release from Flatland Cavalry that's set to be heavily featured at this performance. We already have "Never Comin' Back" making the rounds as the top song from that release.
Since its conception, Flatland Cavalry has come off as new-age folk to a degree. They lean a little more toward that side than an average country music performer. It's going to be interesting to see how the show shifts from The Randy Rogers Band's set into that main event of the evening. If you want to be in Spring, Texas, on Saturday, July 18th, when it all goes down, all you have to do is hit the "Buy Tickets" link on this page.
The show is scheduled for 7:30 PM and is part of a summer run tied directly to the band’s 2026 album, marking one of the larger Texas stops on the tour. You get to be at an open venue listening to some country and folk tracks. Can you think of a better way to spend the summer? We figure that most of you reading this won't.
The tour supports the album "Work of Heart," which includes tracks like "Never Comin’ Back" that have already reached the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The band’s live sets continue to reflect their Red Dirt roots, combining storytelling with a full-band sound shaped by their Lubbock, Texas background. A lot of the songs from the Flatland Forever album continue to be among the fan favorites across multiple streaming platforms. Expect "The Mountain Song" and "Sleeping Alone" to make it onto the setlist for the night, along with the new tracks we mentioned. The inclusion of performers like the Randy Rodgers Band also ensures that there won't be a lot of downtime at this performance. Keep that in mind as we move into the summer months here.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion holds approximately 16,500 attendees and offers reserved seating near the stage along with a large lawn section. Pavilion seats provide more direct sound, while the lawn is often selected for a wider view and flexible space during outdoor shows. The main theater area is meant for those folks who are looking to have a closer view of the action. If you just want to chill with your buddies, put in a few refreshing drinks into your system, then it's maybe the lawn where you'll want to be.
Tickets for this date are priced across multiple tiers, including lawn, reserved seating, and pit options. Right now, those lawn spots are starting at around $45. That's a pretty good deal when you take into account the level of talent that's going to be taking the stage. Make sure you click the "Buy Tickets" link to secure your seats here soon.
