The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
Bone Thugs N Harmony and company will be hosting one of the stops on their Thuggish-Ruggish-Mafia Tour at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Sunday, September 28th. Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia are going to be co-headlining the tour! The talent pool doesn't end there. DJ Quik and Tech N9ne will also be a part of the evening.
Everything is shaping up to be a rap battle showdown with icons of the genre. Bone Thugs N Harmony are one of the God Fathers of hip-hop, holding down the fort since the 90s. You might get a chance to hear some of their iconic tracks, on top of the rap battles. There's going to be a DJ making sure that enthusiasm never dies at this event. This Thuggish Ruggish Mafia Tour is shaping up to be a lot more than just beloved rap groups singing some of their most popular tracks! Sure, a lot of people will be heading to this event on Sunday, September 28th, so we'll be hoping Three 6 Mafia gets up there to sing "Stay Fly." This is one of those tracks that you can still hear being played at some clubs, and it instantly sets a tone! Howeverrr, if you're coming out here, just know it's going to be more of a rap battle. At least that's how things are shaping up. By the time this lineup hits Spring, Texas, we'll have been able to see exactly what this show is about, but you gotta believe there are going to be some rap battle elements present.
DJ Quick might be the man in charge of refereeing some of the rap battles. He's also going to be the one to set the tone for most of the night. What you don't want at these events is to leave the crowd in silence for a long time. There's obviously a possibility that any of these groups will sing tracks like "Thuggish Ruggish Bone." There's a reason why the headliners decided to go with that track name as the tag line of the tour. It's going to be a full-on rap night, that's what you're guaranteed!
This title is figurative speech, but just know there's a bit of beef between these two bands, at least the two co-headliners. Things might get heated and not in a great way at this event!
