The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
Calling all the 90s kids!
This fall we’ve got a trip down memory lane lined up for you - of the best kind! So dig out those cargo pants, crop tops, and the platform shoes, slap the most prominent girl groups onto your playlist, and revisit girl-power’s glory days in an outing that you won’t ever forget!
Two of the world’s most iconic girl groups have gotten together for a supertour - their first-ever co-headlining tour - and are slated to bring all those legendary 1990s hits we all love to all the major North American venues, and what could possibly be better than this?
That’s right, Spring, TLC and Salt-N-Pepa are coming to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on 4 October 2026 with ‘It’s Iconic: The Tour' alongside R&B contemporaries En Vogue!
Tickets are flying off the shelves like mad with prices starting from as low as $50, so click on the ‘Get Tickets’ link right now to secure your seats to one of the year’s most iconic nostalgia-trips!
Just think about this: two fierce 1990s trailblazing groups on stage scratching that nostalgia-itch you’ve had since way back; a different concert format that moves away from the standard, but rather functions as a mixtape-vibe with sets mashed together; a feast of all those high-energy hits you loved then and still do now - from No Scrubs and Creep to Push It! and Shoop, from Waterfalls and Unpretty to Whatta Man and None Of Your Business; and a flood of energy oozing from the stage into an adoring crowd that roars with approval - they’ve got it right - it’s pretty iconic.
For the first time ever, R&B girl-group TLC, now a duo comprising Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, have joined forces with hip-hop icons Salt-N-Pepa, featuring Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and DJ Deidra “Spinderella” Roper, on a massive co-headlining North American tour - and it’s going to be nothing short of ICONIC! It’s Iconic: The Tour is slated to kick off in mid-August 2026 in Franklin, Tennessee, with stops in all the major cities, including Noblesville, Burgettstown, Mansfield, Grand Rapids, Cuyahoga Falls, Camden, Raleigh, Hollywood, The Woodlands, and Las Vegas on the itinerary. The tour, which will feature girl-group En Vogue, known for hits such as Don’t Let Go, My Lovin’, and Free Your Mind, as special guest, is scheduled to wrap up in mid-October 2026 in Concord, California.
Even though they are well over three decades into their career, TLC still pumps with that iconic energy, top-tier vocal deliveries, and breathtaking choreography. Yes, they were relevant back then, and they still are - now even more than ever. They hold the title as the first R&B group to achieve diamond certification; they are one of the five best-selling girl-groups since The Supremes; they are ranked as the greatest female group ever by VH1; and their massive contribution and influences on music are unparalleled.
Salt-N-Pepa is an explosion of pure chemistry and energy, now the same as back then, and with their massive back catalogue of hits, they are still proving every day just why they went down in history as the first female rap act to achieve gold and platinum status. Their influences on the musical scene of the 1990s have been rewarded with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; while their groundbreaking work and success in hip-hop have earned them the title of The First Ladies Of Rap.
It’s Iconic: The Tour promises to be a feast of all things 1990s - not only are these groups all trailblazers from this era, but their choice to make a stop at the legendary Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, which also came into existence in the 1990s, just adds that x-factor!
